WASHINGTON (AFP) - - Nearly one out of two women would rather give up sex for two weeks than go without the Internet, according to a survey released Monday.

Far fewer men would choose to go without sex, according to the survey of 2,119 adults carried out by the online research firm Harris Interactive and sponsored by Intel Corp., the world's biggest computer chip maker.

Forty-six percent of the women polled said they would rather go without sex for two weeks than give up access to the Internet for the same period of time, according to the survey, "Internet Reliance in Today's Economy."

Only 30 percent of men said they would rather forgo intimate relations than cyber ones.

Ninety-five percent of those surveyed said it is "very important, important or somewhat important" to be able to access the Internet.

Sixty-five percent of those surveyed rated Internet access above other discretionary spending items such as cable television subscriptions (39 percent), dining out (20 percent), shopping for clothes (18 percent) or a health club membership (10 percent).

Sixty-one percent of the women surveyed said they would rather give up watching television for two weeks than give up access to the Internet for one week.

hi all! back from class chalet and it was FUN!
DAY1
haha..ytd at 11.30am i was the first to reach changi village,Hans said 12pm meet..in de end i waited till 1+++++ den got 4 of us, mainly mi hongchew hans and jingyang and the girls were nowhere to be seen =.= so we decided to go to the chalet first. dunno who suggested using the boardwalk and in the end we got lost and walked one whole big round back to the correct destination. OMG. it was damn tired can, wearing black tee and walking under the HOT noon sun. =( we slacked in the chalet room till we persuaded jiayun and anne to go ubin cycle wif us! YAY haha. waited for jianee and liquan before setting off. Initially, the sun was bright and the skies were clear. however when we were on the bumboat halfway thru the journey (pw =.=) the skies turned dark and it looks almost like doom day. LOLS.

during the 20+ mins of bumboat ride, we decided to cam whore! haha reached ubin and the sky was still dark, so we decided to walk instead of cycle in caese it rains halfway and it's not worth it to rent a bike. so we walked and walked and walked. When we reached the HSBC thingy in ubin, the skies cleared! hence we decided to rent bikes and cycke to chek jawa. since anne carn cycle and liquan dunno how to cycle, i and hans each rented a 2-ppl bike. hans took anne while i took liquan. it was so damn difficult to control the 2ppl bike can.cuz liquan was not cycling and i have to keep the balance of 2ppl.so we huff and puff and managed to cycle around the island and reach chek jawa entrance. However the slope up is so freaking steep that it's no possible to bring up the 2ppl bike(dun expect us to cycle up). so we decied to abandon the mission to conquer chek jawa.

OHOH. halfway the trip i tricked hongchew into taking over my place and i took his single bike (muhahahaha). so hongchew thought he's the por and he said he will meet us back at the bike rental shop and so took off wif liquan hanging dangerously on the end of the bike.However, when we all reched the rental shop,redball and liquan was nowhr to be seen OOO: and we thought they took the long route back and i was LOLing at the thought of redball pushing the 2ppl bike up the slope. In the end jingyang called liquan and it was actually the problem of the bike chain. finally they managed go get back before it rains and we cam whore again on the beach. redball decided to be a wet redball and sat promptly onto the sand and whoosh his whole body was wet within seconds.

after cam whoring, we took bumboat back to mainland and went to buy bbq stuff(impromptu).after buying all the stuff that cost us $52.30 which i haven pay my share to hans =X we went for dinner at THAIPAN! ( BUTTER SQUID! SAMBAL KANGKONG!) and redball was damn late cuz he went home to bath and the bus decieds to make fun of him by being slowwww.lols.so he arrived when we were eating our dessert and he looked like a sad soul who's having his dinner. hahahaha after dinner we went back chalet and watch tv!

at bout 7+ de rest of the class came(not alot cuz some went overseas) den we played cards watch tv etc till 10+ when we decided to watch dvd. we watch Boret (wrong spelling?) which is freaking funny (u all should go watch) and hans was thumping the sofa and screaming wif laughter due to the movie.hahahah and i laughed till i cried.
after movie bbq time and since the girls had bathed and thus it wa mi hans and redball who were bbq ing and jingyang jason julian came to help us. it F2@#$ing rained halfway the bbq.licky we managed to get the charcoals in before they were extinguished. we bbq till about 2+ den i and hans went to bath.

after bathing we ( shamin jiayun jianee amelia jiejing hans and me) settled down comfortably on the sofa foe shutter! haha. after 4 years since i watched the movie,shutter still mangnaged to bring in the thrills.XD after shutter is soccer England vs germany (boring) and movie again (blades of glory). by the time the movie was finished it was already 5+am. and most of us knocked out on the sofa.

DAY 2
i slept till 8+ and joined jiejing zac and redball in the room on sec floor to watch brazil and Portugal. the score was 5-2! haha. after soccer match we went down and slept on the sofa again till 10+. Joayun forgot the plot of shutter and so he put it on the dvd again.=.= in the morning! oo: lols.after that lunch at changi village (left mi jingyang hans jiayun redball jianee and elizabeth).

after lunch rot in chalet watch tv talk cock till book out. haha. now for the photos!

Here's a good way to burst your pimples without causing an infection OOO:
First, ensure that the pimple is ready for bursting. meaning it's yellow in color (filled wif pus-EWWW) and so damn big that when u dun burst it, it's gonna burst anyway.
Second, use a small piece of tissue(save tissue) and hold on to the pimple.
Third, pinch the pimple and pull in the direction away from ur face. ( it may hurt awhile but try to hold the pain)
Next, the top layer of pimple should come out, so use the tissue and pull the remaining of the pus out. DUN PRESS IT DOWNWARDS AS INFECTION MAY OCCUR
Blood may flow out, just use another CLEAN piece of tissue to clean it
Lastly, wash the area wif soap and water about 2-3 times and dry the area. =D

SINGAPORE: A police national serviceman was injured in the groin when a fellow officer accidentally discharged a round from his sub—machine gun while the two were on guard duty.

The incident happened on Monday night at the Police Key Installation Protection Training Camp along Ulu Pandan Road.

hi all...had to reach HTA at 6.30am for ccc duty..thought i would be late..but in the end..i was the first to reach at 6.20. =.=|||| so crap..i could have slept more.. den today very little helpers..SO ONE PERSON HAVE TO DO 2 PITCHES! OMG.can die especially under the HOTTTTTT sun..ahah..but the lunch was not bad..nice.. yeah..and the moving of log was worse then pt la..i rather have 2 hrs of pt...dam shyt..but at least cleared 7 HQ hrs today..so..8 more hrs to go...think LMSC can cover everything. yeah..btw well done girls! u all did anderson proud! haha..they completed everything in 9 mins+ lei..pro sia..hmm..going back anderson to collect my cert..anyone care to join mi??

Hi all..went ubin for survival camp training today...had fun but was injured lo..got scratched by barnacles when doing the jetty jump..sucks..but overall was very fun..met alot of my batchmates and had a good time catching up wif each other. =D yeah..hope to see them again.

yoyo.had a very irritating day today. =.= went wisma to get my phone fixed before my warrenty expires. reached there and the person said,"OH! ur battery cover cracked, but it's not under warrenty, u have to buy ur own battery cover." den i was like =.= in the end i agreed to buy the cover which was $5.35. However 5 mins later, "sorry, we have no more stock.." i was like wtf??!! =.= yeah. so this shows that some s'pore dealers do not practise the principle of pragmatism and forward-looking. LOLS. enuf of complaining..i finally got my portable harddisk today!!
